Over the course of his career, Jarrod Edens has has managed the design and development of hundreds of real estate development projects in the Raleigh/Durham area. Prior to beginning his career as a civil engineer, Jarrod received his Bachelor's Degree from Virginia Tech in 1997. Prior to attending Virginia Tech he graduated from Southwest Virginia Community College in 1995 with an Associate's Degree in Engineering.

Jarrod Edens held his first professional position with the North Carolina Department of Transportation, where he served as the Assistant District Engineer for several counties across the state. Following his three year stint with NCDOT, Jarrod accepted the position of Project Manager at Horvath Associates in Duhrham, NC. Mr. Edens went on to hold various positions with other firms before founding Edens Land in 2004.

Edens Land is a 12-person civil engineering, landscape architectural and real estate development firm. As the President of the firm, Jarrod is responsible for managing the day to day operations including project management, marketing and business operations. Edens Land has become one of the most trusted site civil firms in Durham and is known for excellent work product and customer services.

As a real estate developer, Mr. Edens has partnered on several projects in the Durham area, including The Oaks at Lyon's Farm, Herndon Trace and Foxwood Manor. Jarrod has become very well versed in residential development in Durham and is a trusted source for solutions as problems arise.
